Did you know?

(?) Indonesia has the world's longest coastline at nearly 85,000 km.

(?) Indonesia is home to more volcanoes than any other country.

(?) Jakarta is the city's fourth name after Sunda Kelapa, Jayakarta, and Batavia. It's nickname is the Big Durian after the notoriously smelly fruit.

(?) In 1962 when Senayan Stadium hosted the Asian Games, it was the largest stadium in the world, holding over 100,000 people.

(?) Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world.

(?) When the Dutch arrived, they planned Jakarta to serve as a tropical Amsterdam, which is how many people regarded the city during the 18th century.

(?) The Wisma BNO 46, measuring 262 meters tall, the tallest in Jakarta, is one of the tallest buildings in the southern hemisphere.

Prita - costumer case (are they still the king anymore?)

Yea, is customer still 'the KING' nowadays? Good question to ask ourselves. In what business do you find that customer is not the king?

A-h-a, this case just successfully raised my attention and got my nerve spinned. In nowadays marketing science, we learn how to make everything based on our customer view, one of the trainer recently put that into my head, that marketing is looking at the business from the customer view. Isn't it what business is all about if you want to be successful?

I follow this case because this relates to me in all way. I am no all-time-complainer. But if I do have grudges against any service, I will say it out loud. At most cases, I don't know where to address that complaint though.

Some places have their customer service desk, some dont. Some places have their call center to take your complaint, some dont. Interestingly enough sometimes what you complain on the phone just stay on the phone, no body cares really.
So that situation that you faced the other day, will be faced by different person on other days. Crazy. It just stuck there.
I salute corporate that response to "reader's mail" on newspapers.

I am not saying all complaints are true at all points, not at all. But responding to it is the noble thing to do to react on the situation. Take care of the complaint. Finish what it's all about. Especially in dignity of course.

I still can not believe One's complaint of what had happened to her regarding the service at a hospital can lead her to jail. It is just bizarre.

Indonesia has its YLKI, I really need to hear more voices from them. Seriously.
They need to get their image as big as it can be. It protects people's right. Why can they be big and when they soar businessmen will need their seatbelt fastened?
Arent' they supposedly have their hands on this case? Making the King get to its kingdom chair and still be the King? Except everybody wants it to be a battle instead where of course in that case you know what? That customer will still wins, why? hey, remember rule number one, customer is always the king!

I dont know what is going to happen to OMNI hospital. Will this be a past in the future, and people wont remember it and they will be just fine. Or they will file bankruptcy in a few years, or they will be so so in business, well.. as for me, I dont want to go there for a visit for sure. I guess that's one of my way to support my fellow King. (sorry, I still think customer is the king).

Day 1, MY trip
