Dah gitu agak tumben tumbenan gak ramah sama orang yg ramah ma dia. Fiuh,... nidurin nya pun susah banget.

Tapi pas dia dah tidur, wow, muka damainya menyejukkan hati sekali. Tiba-tiba gw jadi ngerasa bersalah narik tangannya kenceng tadi pas di MRT, ngangkat dia dengan kasar pas dia merosot turun, dan melotot ke dia waktu suaranya kenceng. Duh, tiba tiba sedih gw.

Tiba-tiba gw keinget ayat itu, iya juga ya, saat kita tidur, mungkin Tuhan tersenyum dan jatuh kasihan melihat kita. Padahal dah seharian nyebelin banget tingkahnya hehehehe. :) Great to know...

my life in brooklyn (one fragment)

It's just like the movie.

I was about going to ATM machine to get some money to send some of my friend's stuff to California one morning. But then, I changed my mind as I past the ATM machine, I thought, I could pay with my debit card anyway. Then I went to post office, and how surprised I was when I walked back from the post office a lot of cars blocking the road in front of my campus, police cars with sirens on, suddenly just like in the movies, black SUV Chevrolet cars around my campus, and long winter coat detectives running rushing in, helicopter above my campus, police everywhere, ready with their guns. I was shocked, as I approached the entrance gate, nearest gate to my dorm, the police asked me to go away and I said : I live here! "Okay, sorry," he replied, "but no one could not come in as the robber were in the campus, and now in chasing situation, we don't know yet if he's holding any hostages, for sure they have guns" he said " you just get to be out and then later come back, stay away from here". I was wowed with this, and then walked towards the other way the restaurants area, and as I walked I met my professors, David, Conrad and John, who were about to have lunch then heading home afterwards, they had been advised to go home and school cancelled all classes that day. Wow.
I was out couple of hours and saw in TV at the restaurants the whole thing like crazy..

By the way, my campus is not far away from the Court House! Can you imagine!
It was so true, just like the movie, the polices wouldn't invade in if there was not enough back up to support them. Then the situation got worst, due to report that they held hostages. The scariest thing was the robbers got guns. Shown in the cctv camera.

As I thought of it, it was strange enough. The ATM machine was just a few meters away from the security desk! Ouch...

Crazy day. It was in the news. TV1 covered it.

My uncle also called just to make sure that I was okay.
I went back to the dorm after couple of hours, the polices still there. We were escorted walked in to the dorm, and whenever we would like to go out of dorm, the police stayed with us, walked us to the gate. Wow... felt like VIP person somehow :d

Police were everywhere in our dorm. What an experience.....

Police and bomb squad, K9, swept the whole place before finally letting us go alone again.

College Campus Evacuated In Search For Armed Robber

FEBRUARY 04TH, 2003

Several buildings on the Long Island University campus in Downtown Brooklyn have been evacuated as police search for an armed robbery suspect.

Police said an unidentified man with a handgun held up two armored car guards who were delivering cash to an ATM inside a campus building. The suspect took the guards’ guns and fled into a dormitory with $74,000, police said.

It was unclear whether he may have taken anyone hostage.

All classes were canceled for the rest of the day as students, teachers and staff were told to leave the campus, at the intersection of Flatbush and Dekalb avenues, near Fort Greene Park.

Flatbush Avenue is closed to traffic from the Brooklyn Bridge through Downtown Brooklyn

Christmas in Singapore (my 2012)

Wow,... it's Christmas everywhere in Singapore!
I was so touched since even though it was a very big commercial as people said about Christmas celebration, I saw many different way of celebration.

I began to look differently at Christmas here in Singapore.
I didn't know until I attended the Christmas mass at Marriott Hotel, where the Pastor told us the government of Singapore celebrated Christmas according to the true real mission of Christmas.
Wow, interesting.
They decorated orchard road with the theme of Love. They have annual theme for Christmas, wow. Tang shopping center even had its own theme for Christmas. TANGS, Singapore's leading fashion lifestyle retailer since 1932. ... Light', a contrition of 'the Lord will be your everlasting Light' - Isaiah 60:20.

Then some shows of Christmas drama, the Jesus Christ born story played beside the road on the beautiful stage.

Carol songs sang almost everywhere :)

My siblings were here also, adding great joy in my Christmas celebration :)
ah... great!
