marriage life..

When you talk about marriage life, it is a different life.
You can not think it as a long journey of dating, you can not think it as a continuing togetherness, whatever referring to live together better than dating.
Because it is a different life.

I now more understand why people do not want to get married. I do.. Seriously.
Not only understand, more to it, I agree.

Marriage life is complicated.
how? Easy, there are two people acting as they are one. Crazily, actually, there are no two people! It is even more! Count the in laws. Then you have so many people crammed into one institution they called 'marriage'. Crowded, man! If you think there are only two people wanted things, actually there are more people wanted things. Even in the western world where everybody envy the luxury of no-parent-interfering. That's something that most people in east (who lives in east anyway? referring to asia pacific right? - what about middle east? well we talk about that later!) jealous about from western people. Parents are married into your marriage when you got married. Some put their feet deep, and some don't. And you think when they do not come in touch with you when you got married is better? Wrong. See how marriage life is so complicated??

Marriage life is strange.
Why they want to live together when they are happily live alone? One of my priest preach mentioned that there are 3 reasons why people got married.
1. To avoid the obscene sin
2. To have kids
3. mmhh... guess what I forgot.. (and it is only last sunday!)
You got into a fight because each of you have your own thing of doing something, then you both need to get back together, you have to actually, and you are forbidden to be divorced. Come on, seriously, divorced are said to be forbidden.
Strange enough, once you got married you really are tied to that person for the rest of your life. Even though you both already are divorced. Strange as it is.

So many people told so many people how lucky singles are.
Still so many people got married every day!
So many business based on wedding!
So many happiness around wedding.
So many ritual around wedding.
Where all those happiness and ritual lead to a strange and complicated marriage life :)

I am married.
Reason? Still I wonder. I can not put blame into anyone, it is still my superficial decision to get married. May be because my husband lead the way to get married.
I found marriage life is complicated and strange yet fun and interesting.
