Asian women maids... where has your rights been hiding?

They have been beaten, raped, just because...

I am an asian woman my self. I refused to any kind of abusive activity to any asian women, in fact to any kind of race of women in the whole world. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment. That is not fair.

I was so touched when I read that past of The new york times, mentioning about asian women maids especially women from my country Indonesia that has been beaten so badly. Not only beaten, she has been pressed with hot iron. Can you imagine?

It sounds like hell, yup like hell that people sometimes mentions about. In hell that is the only place where bad people will suffer.



They just want to work. They of course are not well educated. If they are educated hey they wont be a maid, they would be a doctor now at RSCM hospital in the capital. Just because they are not well educated doesn't mean that she can be beaten!! I know and I have experienced having maids in my home who are very you can say stupid. Her IQ certainly is very low. But she is a nice person. Even though sometimes because of her low iQ she did some terrible things, but those are understandable.



I heard about people who act as the agent to send them abroad. Where is their heart? Where their conscience? Do they have one?



Maids are big dilema in my country, never been touched my heart more than the last time I read on that newspaper. It was a one full page coverage of that story. I am so sad. And also mad.



Where are their rights?

At least they have to have one day off, or two days off. They deserves to have their own room. They deserves healthy food. They deserves fun sometimes. People should treat them like their employeee. With salary and BENEFIT. They work not for slavery.



I am mad to the people who abused them and so mad to the agents who didnt help them I am mad to my government who didnt do extreme action regarding that. I cant imagine that kind of situation happen to any of my family.



I really hope one day, I can do something. For the asian women maids. My fellows.
